Mr. Ahmet Yakıcı, Partner and Senior Consultant

Mr. Yakıcı, Turkish bureaucrat and diplomat, had served many important positions at the Foreign Trade Bureaucracy respectively as Assistant Inspector, Inspector, Chief of Department, Head of Department, Deputy General Director, General Director, Deputy Undersecretary at the Ministry of Trade; and as Undersecretary at the Ministry of Economy; and Commercial Counselor in Damascus, Senior Commercial Counselor in Seul at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and finally as Ambassador at Turkish Embassy in Libya.
Mr. Yakıcı is working at EKO-D Consultancy Company as a partner and senior consultant. His key skills and professional areas of expertise covers; foreign trade, trade defense policy instruments, international bilateral and multilateral trade negotiations, international trade panels, investment incentives, foreign capital, trade diplomacy and government relations areas. With Mr. YAKICI’s leadership, his staff in Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade has implemented and executed Turkey’s strategies and policies on trade defense policies, export policies, grants in aid, incentive strategies and policies, multilateral trade negotiations, free trade agreements and especially on bilateral trade policies.
