Mr. Haldun Atıf Danışman, Chairman
He started his career on Nuclear Power Plant Project of Turkey in Turkish Electricity Authority and then appointed to Atomic Energy Authority of Turkey.
He was granted with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and United States National Research Council (US-NRC) scholarships and trained respectively in Germany,
Canada and United States of America and worked also at Bechtel USA, Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL) and Atomic Energy Control Board of Canada (AECB).
He also served at; Turkish State Railways as a Director responsible from electrification, signalization and telecommunication.
He was granted JICA scholarship and trained in Japan on Railway Electrification.
He served at State Planning Organization as Director of Project Evaluation Department of Foreign Investments.
He also served as Deputy General Director and as Acting General Director of Foreign Investments at the Undersecretariat of Treasury and Foreign Trade in charge of evaluating the foreign investment projects and if eligible give investment permits,
incentives, evaluate and approve technology transfer and know-how agreements,
approval of the foreign credits which will be used at the Projects, approval of the customs-free imported equipment’s which will be used in these Projects and approval of
work permits for foreign staff.
He appointed as Chief Economic and Commercial Counselor of Turkish Embassy in Rome, Italy. After returning to Turkey, he attended to National Security Academy in Turkey. After his graduation he was appointed as Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources in charge of whole electric sector. He was in charge of restructuring of Electric sector for privatization of electricity distribution and generation and preparation of Electricity Market Law 4628.
He was the Chairman of Turkey- USA Energy Commission and Chairman of Turkey- Russia Energy Commission. He was the Chairman of the Energy Fund, Board Members of Mine Fund, Kayseri Electric Distribution Company and Yamula Hydro Electric Power Plant.
